Classic Boulder hike with incredible views and within walking distance of downtown Boulder. The Sanitas Trail climbs a tall ridge with sweeping views to the east and west. Also be sure to hit the Sanitas Valley Trail, a wide, gradual path just east of Mt. Sanitas.
Take Mapleton Ave. west until it turns into Sunshine Canyon Dr. Look for parking on either side of the road. There's also a small parking lot on the left side of the road just past the marked trailhead on the right.
